—Moral values—

The moral values that I got from the short story “Sinigang” is despite of negative instances, still do the pharisaical things or righteousness. My former ESP teacher once said that “Always do the right things.”

Think deeply that there are people suffering severely and dangerously more than what you suffered but they never give up.

I also remember the time when my religious grandmother said that “Those conflict or struggle in life is just a test from God. God will give us a challenge, a challenge that we can handle or resolve.

Just like Liza, although she was hurted from the deeds or actions of her father she would face her father still politely without bitterness.

Moreover, it depends on the maturity of a person though. A matured person can think critically and betterly in terms of behaviors or attitudes than immatured person.

—Impacts—

Its impact to me as a 21st century learner is really massive because it has a golden lesson that I can apply in real life situations. My mental being is enhancing because of that story. I realize countless things because of it. I will never forget this story because it’s literally helpful for us youth to reflect our situations and make it as an motivation and aspiration to fight for our life.

For the meantine, we are not yet facing the reality, we are not yet on the battlefield. I am telling you all that prayer is the best weapon, so if the reality will slap you hardly ask God for his guidance and enlightenment.

Healthy Weeknight Meals

Cooking can sometimes feel like a chore at the end of a busy day. It’s often tempting to throw a ready meal in the oven or call for take out. But preparing a simple and healthy family meal doesn’t have to be hard or time-consuming. Here are some quick wholesome dishes that you and your family will love. They can even be prepared in advance.

Breakfast at my House

During the week we’re often walking out the door with a coffee in one hand and slice of toast in the other, but on weekends breakfast is never rushed. It’s a late affair, sometimes spilling over to lunch, with lots of reading and chatter in between courses of fruits, poached eggs, honey and toast. One of our favorite things we like to serve when friends are visiting are buckwheat blueberry pancakes.
